Gretsch Viking 1968
Wow! There's not many of these around anymore!
The Viking (Model # 6187) was second in the Gretsch lineup behind the ostentatious and over-the-top White Falcon. With almost every feature Gretsch could think of, the Viking was designed for the high-end player looking for that "Great Grestch Sound".
This Beautiful Sunburst Viking is in great shape. The binding is in good condition with a few spots that have been re glued at some point. The neck and frets are good, just normal wear.
The mute felt has been lost some time ago and been replaced with a foam mute. Original pickguard is included but has a piece missing where the attachment screw hole is. Original Gretsch case is included.
Overall a great old rare Gretsch.
